Q1.Can I see something you have built?This is the most common question asked by clients. We consider our clients privacey and would prefer not to use our previous clients homes as a commercial display home for the public to veiw at will. This is part of our gaurantee to our clients not expose your privacey to the public. However we can show you homes under construction by appointment.
Q2. What is the Square Meter Rate you charge for building?
Each home we design is different and built for you. A square meter rate can’t be quoted until such time as we gather all the information required for your design. Unknowns may change the cost during construction so we prefer to eliminate these before we cost a project.
Q3. How long will construction take?
It all depends on the project. Once we have had our first meeting we will have a better idea of the style of home you want. I make sure I have a realistic time frame and don’t make promises I can’t keep.
A builder needs time to check the quality of the work and schedule the work correctly. Our quality is our pride and to achieve quality I need a reasonable amount of time. If you are not concerned about quality you may need to consider another builder.
Q4. Do you have plans a set of plans we can look at to use for our plot of land?
Yes we do, however they are mainly used as I guide to help design the home you desire. Until I know what it is you want to build I can only give you an idea of the cost.
Q5. Will you be available on site?
I am with you from start to finish, from the moment we have our first meeting our relationship will begin. I pride myself on quality; you cannot get quality unless you have proper supervision.
Q6. What about my Architect/Designer is it best to use yours or should a find my own?
We have no objections to building your home from your plans and specifications. However unfortunately, we take no responsibility for design faults or delays in construction due to lack of information. We can build anything as long as you own your design, as copyright applies.
Q7. What makes your designs ‘Unique’?
All designs are drawn to your specific requirements, as no two people are the same. Each home is as individual like we are all individuals. You want your home to express who you are, so when you move into your new home, you have achieved your desires in your new home. Our designs are created to compliment every aspect of your land. We design to suit your requirements to achieve eco friendly, excellent energy saving thermal and acoustic qualities.
Q8. Do You Build Project Homes?
No: Project builders set their plans and prices in concrete, when you change the design the cost start to rise dramatically. Our unique designs are for clients who have a dream to build their dream home as an individual not a factory line style of product of a shelf restricted to a set design. This way you are building your dream rather than somebody else’s. We don’t repeat the same design over and over again. The past history has shown that a unique design will achieve a better response from purchasers.
